The Coopérative des Avirons also understood very early
on the impact of farming on the environment.
It therefore participates actively, through the advice it provides to farmers,
the products it markets and the solutions it recommends, in the spread of controlled
farming and good, efficient and environmentally friendly agricultural practices.
Finally, it is committed to an active policy
of cooperation in the Indian Ocean (in particular
with Madagascar, the Comores, Mauritius…):
• assistance in agricultural development through its experience,
• the provision of training,
• humanitarian action…
